The match started off with captain Raj winning the toss and electing to have a bowl.
Mayfield opened the bowling with Adam Howard and Warren Wright, however the breakthrough was created by Madhav Sharma who took two very quick wickets and then took a third shortly after. Adam Howard carried this on getting the fourth. Andy Parker took another two straight after drinks. After a strong partnership Adam Howard took another two wickets and Josh Hughes got two to finish their innings on 172.
Batting started strong with Henry Underwood smashing 30 odd off the first couple of overs, Josh Hughes fell cheaply early and before drinks both Charlie Phelan and Andy Parker were out. After drinks Henry Underwood got bowled on 82. Mark Alexander (52) and Divanshu Sharma (13) closed out the game for a Mayfield win.
With two games to go we are sitting second in the league just nine points behind St Peters.
